Through this policy, the conditions, principles, rules, and permission of publishing operations are established and the effective use of the content of the Ministry's website is coordinated in order to provide a valuable service to the customer, which must be followed and adhered to its requirements in preparing the materials that are displayed and published on the website.

 

The policy includes the following:

  • Responsibilities and permission.
  • General principles.
  • Content text standards.
  • image standards.
  • Link standards.
  • Content criteria and easy search.
  • Publication standards.
  • Standards for comments and electronic participation.

 

Responsibilities and permissions:

The Website Management is committed to the Directorate General of Information and Institutional Communication about publishing, reviewing content and making feedback, as it deems appropriate, consistent with the media and communication appearance of the Ministry and achieving its objectives. The relevant departments of the Ministry are committed to the creation of electronic content in their specialty with continuous follow-up of the updating of their content by identifying a liaison officer from each department of the Ministry to ensure the quality of the content sent "authenticity and adoption of information... etc. ", providing content management with any update on content posted on the Ministry's official website and prompt response to content management requirements from the Directorate General of Information and Corporate Communication.

 

General principles:

  • Concentrating to the quality of the published material in terms of the beauty of drafting, order of ideas and smooth expression.
  • The content is not contrary to the website or state regulations.
  • Do not add content that is subject to the privacy of others.
  • Ensure that the content is correct and free of linguistic and spelling errors.
  • formatting content to appear appropriately in terms of consistency, order and appearance.
  • It is not inconsistent with religion, government regulations, approved policies, university, state or IT supervisors.

Content Text Standards:

  • The beginning of the page should include a title that attracts the reader and understands the subject's content.
  • Use and differentiate sub-headings and headings.
  • Do not overuse different types of fonts and simply use at most one or two fonts.
  • Ensure that the data is correct and free of linguistic and spelling errors.
  • The text should be abbreviated in the presentation of the idea contained in the page.
  • Not to put more than one topic on a single page as much as possible.
  • Summarize and place the main points of the topic at the beginning so that you do not miss the opportunity on the user and do not read in detail.
  • The user searches for information that is important to his needs and does not want to read each letter so help him by highlighting the important with a sign, placing it as an address, a census.

Image Standards:

  • consideration to image quality, artistic output and provision of attraction.
  • Adjust the image size as required.
  • The image should be content-friendly and expressed.
  • Create text-showing images containing diagrams or illustrations.
  • Not publishing pictures that violate Islamic law or state regulations, or that are offensive to modesty.

Link standards.:

  • All links included in the content work correctly and properly.
  • Do not connect to anonymous sites and links must be government or accredited.
  • Do not add blank links and must ensure that all links have content.

Content criteria and easy search:

  • Using various and commonly used words to ensure increased opportunities to search for content.
  • Commitment when writing content titles with clarity and detail so they are easy to search in search engines.

Publication standards.:

  • Review content well and check it before publishing.
  • Adopt content from the competent content owner department before publishing it.
  • Quickly publish content in conjunction with the event.
  • Order the published material by date.
  • Copyright and intellectual property rights must be considered.
