About Open Data

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing paid early attention to making data available to beneficiaries, aware of the role of data in enhancing knowledge and supporting decision-making, and began in 2009 to create a statistics page that included a time series for a few data sets of municipal sector activities and services.

Responsibility of Open Data Users: The visitors of the portal and the beneficiaries of the electronic portal of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing and its services should review the policy of using this data to know any updates on it, and that all open data available on the electronic portal of the Ministry is educational.

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing provided open data to all its visitors in order to enhance transparency and encourage electronic participation. It is shared through the open data platform by making available collections of data published by the Ministry in multiple formats that facilitate processing and reuse.
